Developed by Phil Ross, M.S., this unique and comprehensive kettlebell training program is recognized by ACE and NASM. It is designed to equip personal trainers with the skills and knowledge to teach kettlebell exercises effectively, helping them become more well-rounded fitness professionals. The BodyBell Method® Certification is offered in three progressive levels, each with specific requirements and objectives.

What is the bodybell Method®?

The BodyBell Method® combines kettlebell training with bodyweight exercises and dynamic tension techniques. This minimalist approach to strength and conditioning helps trainers develop their clients' strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall fitness. By becoming a certified BodyBell Method® instructor, you can add this highly effective training modality to your repertoire, enhancing your ability to deliver diverse and comprehensive fitness programs.

Certification Levels

Level 1: Foundations

  • This level introduces the basic principles of kettlebell training, including safety, fundamental movements, and beginner routines.

  • No prior experience with kettlebells is required. Participants must complete the Level 1 course and pass a written and practical exam.

  • Movements Tested

  • Gain a solid foundation in kettlebell training and start incorporating basic kettlebell exercises into your personal training sessions.

Level 2: Intermediate

  • Building on the basics, Level 2 delves deeper into advanced techniques, programming, and progression strategies.

  • Completion of Level 1 Certification. Participants must complete the Level 2 course and pass a written and practical exam.

  • Movements Tested

  • Enhance your ability to design and implement intermediate-level kettlebell workouts, addressing specific client needs and goals.

Level 3: Advanced

  • This level focuses on mastering advanced kettlebell movements, dynamic tension techniques, and complex programming for elite fitness.

  • Completion of Level 2 Certification. Participants must complete the Level 3 course and pass a written and practical exam.

  • Movements Tested

  • Achieve mastery in kettlebell training, enabling you to teach advanced classes and provide high-level personal training services.
